Terms of Service
Last updated October 31, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CRPHub mobile app and the carverranchespartners.org website (together, the "Services"), operated by Carver Ranches Partners, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization ("CRP," "we," "us"). The CRPHub app lets you browse CRP programs, community events, local businesses, job and volunteer opportunities, and announcements; join community discussions; register for Ranches Kidd membership; and, for approved staff and volunteers, manage events. By creating an account, purchasing a ticket or pass, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Who Can Use the Services
You can browse public content in the app as a guest, without an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. Posting or replying in community discussions requires you to confirm that you are 18 or older. Some features, including event ticket purchases, may require you to be 18 or older.
3. Accounts and Sign-In
Sign-in is handled with a six-digit one-time code sent to your email, or with Sign in with Apple. Do not share your code or your device with anyone you do not trust. You're responsible for keeping your account access secure and for any activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, then Account Management, then Delete Account). See Section 16 for what deletion removes and what we keep.
4. Ranches Kidd Membership
Ranches Kidd membership is free. When you register, CRP reviews your registration and may verify it before issuing a member number and digital membership card. The card shows your name, member number, and a QR code that CRP staff can scan at events. You agree to give accurate information, and CRP may decline, change, or revoke a membership if information is inaccurate or these Terms are violated. Membership recognizes your connection to Carver Ranches and does not by itself entitle you to any payment, property, or voting right.
5. Community Discussions and Your Content
Community discussions are open to signed-in adults who accept the Community Guidelines. Other members see your first name and last initial, taken from your profile, and your profile photo if you add one. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content that harasses or threatens others, is hateful, sexual, or violent, contains spam or scams, shares someone's private information, or spreads misinformation. CRP uses automated filters and human moderators, may remove content, and may suspend or end access for violations.
You can report any post or reply, and you can block another member, from within the app. We review reports and act on those that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. If you submit content or information (registration details, listings, posts, form submissions), you grant CRP the right to use it to operate and improve the Services, consistent with how we describe our data practices to you at the point of collection. You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
6. Business Directory and Opportunities
Local businesses and organizations can submit a free listing and post job, internship, apprenticeship, and volunteer opportunities. CRP reviews submissions before they appear, may ask for changes, and may remove or suspend a listing. The "Ranches Kidd Owned" badge appears only after CRP has verified both the owner's connection to the Carver Ranches community and their ownership of the business. Listings and postings are provided by the people who submit them; CRP does not endorse any business, employer, or opportunity and is not a party to any hiring, volunteer, or purchase arrangement. Postings must follow applicable employment, wage, and child-labor laws. Applications are made directly with the poster, outside the app.
Claiming a business. If you are the owner of a business, or authorized to manage it, you can send a claim for an existing listing with evidence such as a business email address or documents. CRP reviews every claim, may ask for more information, and may decline it. Sending a claim does not transfer anything: a listing changes hands only when a CRP reviewer approves the claim. A claim on a business that already has a verified owner is reviewed with extra care, and the current owner keeps control until CRP decides. CRP may create a listing for a local business and manage it until its owner claims it. The "Verified Business" and "Ranches Kidd Owned" designations are decided by CRP separately and can be changed or removed. Claims and evidence must be truthful; false claims can lead to suspension of your account.
Reviews. Members with a community profile (age 18 or older) can review businesses. Reviews are the opinions of members, are public, and must follow our community rules: no contact details, no harassment, and no content you do not have the right to post. CRP can hide or remove reviews that break these rules, and you can edit or delete your own review at any time.
7. Events, Tickets, Passes, and Payments
Each event in the app shows who organizes it ("Organized by"). CRP program tickets and donations are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor, on carverranchespartners.org. CRP does not store your full payment card details. All sales are final unless an event is canceled or postponed by its organizer, in which case instructions for a refund or credit will be provided. Digital passes are non-transferable unless explicitly reassigned through the app. Tickets are emailed to the purchaser; the app does not currently list your purchases in your account.
Some events shown in the app and on the website, including the Carver Ranches Legacy Ball, are community-organized events. The Carver Ranches Legacy Ball is organized by The Carver Ranches Legacy Ball Committee. For such events, CRP provides digital and event support only, and the events are not sold, hosted, or financially administered by CRP. Questions about a community-organized event should go to its organizer. CRP reserves the right to change pricing and availability of CRP program tickets at any time before purchase.
Promoted Posts. Business owners and managers can buy a Promoted Post in the CRPHub app using Apple's in-app purchase. The payment is made to and processed by Apple under Apple's terms; CRP does not receive your card or Apple Account payment details. A Promoted Post is reviewed by CRP before it is shown, is labeled as sponsored, and is shown to the people who follow the business; CRP may decline a post, ask for changes, or take one down, and in those cases the unused credit is returned to the business. Refunds for in-app purchases are decided by Apple (request one at reportaproblem.apple.com); if Apple refunds a purchase, the unused credit is withdrawn. CRP does not endorse any promoted business. The full rules are in our Advertising Terms.
8. Notifications
Push notifications are optional. If you allow them, CRP may send updates about events, announcements, and community activity, and approved staff may receive alerts about items that need their attention. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
9. Staff and Volunteer Tools
Event-management tools (such as ticketing, guest lists, seating, and check-in) are available only to staff and volunteers whom CRP has approved. Access is limited to the role you were given. You agree to keep guest and member information confidential and to use it only for the event or program you were assigned.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
- Resell or transfer tickets/passes in violation of these Terms
- Upload harmful code or interfere with the Services' operation
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with CRP or with a business
- Post false listings, or use the Services to harass, defraud, or spam others
11. Intellectual Property
The Services, including their design, text, graphics, and logos, are owned by or licensed to CRP and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without our written permission. You keep ownership of the content you submit.
12. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party providers, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage and sign-in, Apple for Sign in with Apple and push notifications, and Resend for transactional email. Your use of payment features is also subject to Stripe's own terms. CRP is not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services outside our control.
13. Apple App Store
If you obtained the CRPHub app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and CRP, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they apply to the app and may enforce them against you. You must also comply with the terms of any third-party services you use with the app. In-app purchases are also subject to Apple's own terms and refund policy.
14. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. CRP does not guarantee the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and is not responsible for user-submitted content, listings, or opportunities.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to CRP, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.
16. Termination and Account Deletion
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time, and you can delete your account in the app.
Deleting your account removes your Ranches Kidd membership and volunteer records, care-request contact details, device tokens for notifications, notification settings, and profile photo, and ends your access. We keep records we need for financial and operational recordkeeping, such as orders, payments, tickets, check-ins, donation records, and audit records. Your reviews, follows, business team memberships, ownership claims and the documents you uploaded for them are deleted. We keep records of in-app purchases for accounting and refunds. Discussion posts and replies you wrote remain but are no longer connected to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
