Promoted Posts in the CRPHub app. Last updated October 19, 2026

1. What a Promoted Post is

A Promoted Post is a short post (a title of up to 60 characters, a message of up to 150 characters and one optional image) that a verified business buys inside the CRPHub app. Carver Ranches Partners ("CRP") reviews every post before it appears.

For seven days, counted from the moment the post actually goes live (not from purchase, submission or approval), it is shown inside the app, labelled Sponsored and "Promoted by [business]", to people who follow that business: pinned at the top of the business's Updates tab and in the Following feed. People can hide any Promoted Post or report it. The placement then ends by itself.

A Promoted Post is advertising. It is never an announcement from, or an endorsement by, CRP. It does not affect the business's ratings, how reviews are ordered, its badges, its search position or its verification.

Promotional notifications are not part of a Promoted Post and are not currently offered. If CRP offers an optional notification in the future, it will only go to people who have separately chosen to receive promotions from that business, and it will be described here first.

2. Who can buy

Verified business owners and managers, from My Business in the app. Every business pays the same published price, including businesses connected to CRP leadership, staff or volunteers. There is no discount, waiver or preferential review. A reviewer who belongs to a business cannot review that business's posts.

3. Prices and payment

Promoted Posts are bought with Apple In-App Purchase. Prices are set in App Store Connect and shown by the App Store before you buy. Apple processes the payment and collects any taxes it is required to collect; CRP never receives your card or bank details. Payments for Promoted Posts are fees for an advertising service, not donations.

4. Credits

Each purchase adds credits to your business. A single-purchase credit does not expire. A credit is used when an approved post goes live. If CRP declines a post or asks for changes, or you cancel before it goes live, you keep the credit.

One complimentary founding post may be offered to each eligible verified founding business under a single published rule, when CRP announces it.

5. Limits

Each business may have up to two Promoted Posts a month, at least seven days apart. A business with no followers cannot buy a Promoted Post, because it would reach no one.

6. Refunds and remedies

Apple purchases. To ask for a refund, use "Report a Problem" from your Apple receipt. If Apple refunds a purchase, the unused credits from that purchase are withdrawn. A post that is already live stays live.

If CRP takes down a live post because of a CRP mistake, or because CRP cancels it, CRP adds a replacement credit to your business, unless Apple has already refunded that purchase.

If a post breaks these rules (for example it is misleading or unlawful), CRP may take it down without a replacement credit and will tell you why. You can ask CRP to look again by contacting us.

Suspension. CRP may pause a business's promoted posts for abuse. Posts that are waiting are cancelled and their credits are returned.

CRP does not guarantee how many people will see a post, tap it or buy from you. CRPHub does not measure views, taps or sales.

7. Content rules

A Promoted Post must be accurate and specific, lawful, non-discriminatory and about your business. It must not suggest that CRP endorses you, and must not contain anything the Community Guidelines prohibit, or personal information about other people. You must have the right to use any image or offer you include. CRP uses blocked-term filtering and human review, and records its decisions.

8. Your followers' privacy

Businesses see only masked counts (for example "Fewer than 5"), never who follows them or any contact details. See the Privacy Policy.
